Community Development Block Grant

The The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is a program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provides non-profit agencies and other city departments with resources to implement services that benefit low- and moderate-income persons, resolve slum and blight concerns, or addresses community development needs. The City of San Jose’s Department of Housing is the administrator of the federally-funded CDBG Program.
