San Jose Department of Housing - Department - Housing & Community Development Advisory Commission

The Housing & Community Development Advisory Commission (HCDC) consists of nine members who advise the Director of Housing, Mayor, and City Council on matters pertaining to affordable housing policies and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The nine-member Commission consists of 1 - 2 representative(s) from Council Districts 3, 5, and 7, and 3 - 6 at-large members. In addition, the Commission must have a minimum of three members who are lower income persons. The HCDC was created in November 2006, by merging the Housing Advisory Commission and CDBG Steering Committee.

The HCDC holds regular meetings the second Thursday of every month at 5:45p.m. in City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.
