How to Get Involved
Morocco’s Restaurant Contributes $800 to Project Homeless Connect -- On Tuesday, September 21st, Morocco’s Restaurant (86 N. Market Street) donated $800, 50% of their total day’s proceeds, to Project Homeless Connect San José. Morocco’s owner, Sham Essadki, has been an ardent supporter of Project Homeless Connect for over a year. In addition to this fundraiser, Mr. Essadki also donates 15% of his proceeds from lunch sales on every Wednesday and the third Friday of the month. Morocco’s Restaurant is leading the way in giving their time and resources to help support the homeless of San José. Project Homeless Connect would like to invite other local restaurants to show their support for members of our city’s most vulnerable population. For more information, or to find out how you too can make a real difference in your community, contact Katherine Erickson at (408)975-4486 or at phc@sanjoseca.gov.
