Public Notice

15-DAY Public Notice of an Amendment to the Consolidated Plan - this notice is to announce that an amendment to the Consolidated Plan-Annual Action Plan for 2008-09 will be available beginning November 3rd, 2008 for a 15-day public notice period. You are invited to give your views on the proposals to:

  1. Accept federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds in the amount of $5,628,283;
  2. The use of these funds for the acquisition of multi-family housing in foreclosure for the purpose of rehabilitation, or demolition and new construction, of rental housing affordable to lower-income households; and
  3. The use of funds for the acquisition and rehabilitation of single-family homes in foreclosure for the purpose of resale at affordable prices to income-qualified households. Comments will be used to amend the City’s Consolidated Plan - Annual Action Plan for 2008-2009.
